Girl Drama

If fifth grade girl drama doesn't kill me, it will definitely give me gray hair.  You were expecting me to say stronger, right? No, more humble maybe.... more aware of human nature..... more aware of how easy it is to misinterpret cues from friends.... more aware of how we all just want to be a part of something and be accepted.  Counseling a ten year old girl on how to rise above it all is not an easy task.  Especially a strong willed little girl who can butt heads with the best of them.  Along with the heartache came something I wasn't expecting, a better and closer relationship with my daughter.  This did not come by my own doing, it came through Godly counsel from God through His Word, daily devotions, friends, family, and christian radio-Way FM.  God is faithful in working His plan, we just need to open our eyes and our ears and remember that all things happen for a reason.  He allowed me to see that He loves my daughter and He has us in His hands.

I know there are many times when God sees me as that strong willed little girl.  When I turn to Him, our relationship grows stronger.  He changes our hearts and counsels us to cling to Him and Him alone. He knit us together in that secret place and has all of our days planned!  Thanks be to God!!!
