Oh Glorious Day!

Living, He loved us
Dying, He saved us
Buried, He carried our sins far away
Rising, he justified freely forever
One day He's coming!
Oh glorious day!!!

The other day I was thinking about life.  I was thinking about the joys and the sorrows, the blessings and the sufferings, the ups and downs, when the lyrics of one of my favorite songs popped into my head.  I love how God always redirects us back to what's important.

Living, He loved us!  He gave up His throne to live among us sinners because He loved us!  He sees through the devouring lion's schemes and gave us an example of how to live and love. 
Dying, He saved us!  He gave up His life to defeat sin and open Heaven's gate.  He suffered a fate worse than death as He was separated from His Father so that we would never have to bear that!
Buried, He carried our sins far away!  He faced satan and defeated darkness with love. No more can satan accuse us before God.  Don't let the father of lies place doubts in your mind that you aren't good enough or that God could never love you. 
Rising, He justified freely forever!  He declares us righteous and God sees us as perfect because we are clothed in His righteousness!

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for declaring us righteous.  Help us to walk steadfast in your love until that glorious day when you return!
